James M. Jasper

JAMES M. JASPER teaches sociology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He studied economics at Harvard and sociology at Berkeley, and taught at Berkeley, Princeton, Columbia, the New School, and NYU. He is currently working on a book developing a sociological alternative to game theory. For fun he edits Oxford Studies in Politics and Culture and sits on the prize committee of the PROSE Awards.
