Kimberly Spring is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the New School for Social Research. Her doctoral research has been focused on how morality is continuously and situationally constituted through social interactions. Her dissertation, entitled Challenging the (Moral) Order: Military Service Members as Public Witnesses to War, is a study of how morality is specifically constituted in public criticisms by veterans of the Iraq War of the military and war.
